About Bai

It started with a sip. Twenty years ago, maybe more, marked the beginning of my passion for the intense taste of a great cup of coffee.

Over the past two decades, I have cupped premium coffees from the hilltops of exotic regions across the globe, in search for the best-quality, green coffee available.  When I learned that local farmers from these regions have always used the whole fruit of the coffee bush to make high energy foods and beverages, I knew that I had stumbled upon coffee’s untold secret.

While the bean has always been harvested, the fruit were left to perish because they were simply too delicate to process.  Yet, filled with phenolic compounds that are found widespread throughout the plant and isolated in the coffee berry, it is truly an extraordinary superfruit that has been forgettable for much too long. 

I’ve always been passionate about healthy beverages that are nourished by nature. So I embarked on a rigorous course of research and development to harness the wonders of the coffee berry. The result? An antioxidant infused, thirst-quenching beverage line called Bai.

Bai means pure. For you, it means pure energy, pure taste, pure goodness. For me it means sharing the goodness of coffee’s superfruit with the world. Pure and simple.
